**Seeking a "Brand and Visual Identity Designer"**
This person will collaborate closely with our full-stack developer, who will build CCA's website, to establish the distinctive visual identity of this new nonprofit.
Responsibilities:
1. Brand strategy — audience, values, personality, positioning, and emotional tone, and reusable brand guidelines
2. Logo system — primary logo, simplified version, icon, and usage rules
3. Overall visual direction — a cohesive identity that feels warm, spacious, contemplative, and credible
4. Color palette — accessible primary and supporting colors,
5. Typography system — coordinated fonts and hierarchy for headings, body text, and calls to action

Center for Compassionate Awakenings (CCA) is a newly established 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to the compassionate exploration of human consciousness through channeling, education, storytelling, and contemplative practices—supporting personal transformation, collective healing, and awakening. We'd like to focus first on CCA’s site structure and design, including:
* Home page
* About page
* Offerings page
* Contact and engagement pathways
* Basic donation acceptance functionality
The events calendar and registration, film library, Shopify integration, support group pages, and other expanded content and functionality will follow in Phase II.
I can provide our mission and organizational information, existing written and visual materials, access to our Wix account and current work, and ongoing feedback and collaboration throughout the project. (see my current website at https://BettingOn.Love).
I hope to collaborate with a volunteer who can bring their brand strategy and visual design experience to areas where I genuinely need guidance and support.
Working alongside our developer, this volunteer will help shape the visual design of an initial website that includes:
* Home and About pages
* Offerings page
* Basic donation acceptance functionality
* Contact and engagement pathways
* Mobile-friendly design and clear navigation
For me, success would be having a distinctive, warm, professional, and easy-to-use digital home where people can understand CCA’s mission, explore its offerings, make donations, and connect with its work.
As a new nonprofit, having a team generously share their skills and expertise would make an enormous difference.
