Video Production to Tell Five Powerful Living Donor Stories
Together, we will create a repeatable interview format and five polished videos, each approximately 5–7 minutes long, exploring why donors gave, what life after donation has been like, and why lifelong donor support matters. The first milestone will be one approved pilot video; we will then use that format for the remaining stories.
The volunteer will help shape compassionate interview questions, conduct remote or mutually arranged in-person interviews, and edit each story into a polished final cut with clear sound and a consistent visual treatment. This project is open to an individual or a small volunteer team, and we welcome your creative judgment on pacing, tone, and storytelling. Life4Donors will manage participant outreach, consent and release documentation, and privacy boundaries.
The finished stories will help living donors feel seen and less alone, give families and supporters an honest understanding of life after donation, and help the public understand why lifelong donor care matters. The volunteer's work will strengthen outreach, community-building, and fundraising for programs that provide hardship relief and long-term connection for living donors. Each story can continue creating empathy and action long after the project ends.
At kickoff, we will agree on interview themes, technical approach, milestones, and review cycles. We will begin with one pilot interview and approve the format before moving to the remaining stories, reducing rework and keeping the project manageable within Taproot Project guidelines. Donors will decide what personal or health information they wish to share, and Life4Donors will remain responsible for permissions and final approvals.
