Annual Fund & Recurring Giving Strategy Assessment
Over the past several years, our organization has grown significantly in the number of students served, programs offered, and geographic reach. As we continue to scale, we want to ensure that our fundraising strategies are as effective and sustainable as possible.
We are looking for a volunteer partner to review our fundraising campaigns from recent years, with particular emphasis on our 2025 year-end campaign. We will provide campaign materials, fundraising results, donor engagement data, and relevant fundraising reports. The volunteer would help us identify strengths, gaps, and opportunities related to campaign messaging, donor stewardship, donor retention, recurring donor acquisition, and overall fundraising effectiveness.
The desired outcome is a written assessment and set of actionable recommendations that can guide our fundraising efforts over the next 12–24 months. We are particularly interested in strategies for increasing donor retention, growing our monthly giving program, strengthening donor stewardship, and improving the performance of future year-end fundraising campaigns.
By helping us improve donor retention, strengthen donor engagement, and grow recurring giving, this project will increase our ability to provide sustainable programming for the young women we serve. Stronger fundraising practices will allow us to reach more students, expand opportunities in our existing school partnerships, and continue growing our impact in Houston and Chicago.
The volunteer's expertise will help create a stronger foundation for long-term financial sustainability, ensuring that more young women have access to career exploration, professional role models, leadership development, and opportunities that can influence the trajectory of their futures. Ultimately, this project will help us serve more students and deepen the impact we have on the communities we support.
We have already gathered historical fundraising data, campaign materials, donor engagement reports, and year-end fundraising results that will provide the volunteer with the information needed to conduct a meaningful assessment. We have also begun documenting donor engagement and stewardship practices and are actively seeking ways to improve donor retention and recurring giving.
Our Executive Director will serve as the primary point of contact and is committed to maintaining regular communication, providing timely feedback, and ensuring the volunteer has access to necessary information throughout the project.
The recommendations from this project will directly inform our fundraising planning, donor stewardship efforts, recurring giving initiatives, and future year-end campaigns. As a growing nonprofit serving young women in Houston and Chicago, we are committed to implementing practical strategies that strengthen our long-term financial sustainability and expand our impact.
