We are requesting a CPA volunteer to support the preparation and filing of our 2025 Form 990 tax return. Our filing timeline is for the fiscal year of May 1, 2024, through April 30, 2025, with a due date of September 15, 2026. Our financial records are already organized in a spreadsheet.
By working with our organization on this project, our volunteer is advancing our mission to support research efforts and the families affected by an ultra-rare genetic condition. We will be able to maintain our credibility with donors by filing this tax return and, therefore, continue to grow.
My team and I have organized all our financial records so that our volunteer can easily complete this project. We will be readily available if they have any questions or concerns.

Organization Mission

The LCC Foundation’s MISSION is to help families across the United States and beyond diagnosed with Leukoencephalopathy with Brain Calcifications and Cysts (LCC) by giving them the resources they need to fight this rare and devastating disease. We advocate funding research efforts that will identify new treatments, therapies, and ultimately a cure for LCC. We seek to raise awareness of LCC thus increasing the probability of earlier diagnosis and treatment.
