We'd like to work with a volunteer who can help us reconcile intercompany 'due to/due from' accounts and create a set of standardized monthly schedules to streamline our closing process. Clean, reconciled financials are essential for St. Ambrose’s stewardship of our rental portfolio, ensuring we can continue to provide and expand quality affordable housing for Baltimore residents.

During this project, the volunteer will:
- Reconcile intercompany and 'investment in' accounts across our entities.
- Clean up key balance sheet accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Create reusable monthly schedules/templates to support our ongoing financial reporting.
Clear, reconciled financials will strengthen St. Ambrose’s stewardship of its rental portfolio, improve tracking across entities, and support operational decisions that maintain and expand quality affordable homes for low- and moderate-income Baltimore residents. Volunteer contributions will directly improve financial reliability and program delivery.
Volunteers will collaborate with our finance and property management staff to access the finance database, review account listings, and confirm assumptions. Details about files, access, and timelines will be provided during volunteer interviews so findings can be incorporated into our monthly close process.
