Grants Toolkit Development
The goal of this project is to create a suite of professional documents that we can use for upcoming grant applications and partnership pitches. Deliverables include:
- A reusable master grant proposal template (boilerplate narrative).
- A one-page organizational capability statement (perfect for quick pitches).
- Refined, impact-focused program descriptions and mission-driven language.
With the support of a skilled volunteer, we will be able to develop stronger grant materials, clearer program messaging, and a more strategic approach to fundraising. These tools will allow CTOP to attract more funding and partnerships, which will directly support initiatives like our CTOP Healing Underprivileged Communities Project. Through this work, we provide families in need with access to food, hygiene products, school supplies, and positive activities for children.
By helping us strengthen our organizational capacity, the volunteer will play an important role in expanding CTOP’s reach and impact. Their contribution will help ensure that more families in underserved communities receive the resources and support they need to thrive, while also creating opportunities for youth engagement and stronger neighborhood connections.
We will designate a primary contact, Tashelle Mays Matthews, Founder & Executive Director, who will coordinate communication, provide timely feedback, and ensure that any information or materials needed are readily available. We are prepared to meet regularly, stay organized, and implement the volunteer’s recommendations throughout the engagement.
The materials and strategies developed during this project will be actively used by CTOP to strengthen our grant applications, improve how we present our programs to potential funders, and support long-term sustainability. Our goal is not only to complete the project successfully but to apply the outcomes to expand our impact and continue serving underserved communities through charitable outreach, youth programs, and essential community support services.
