We're seeking a social media strategist to develop a comprehensive content calendar and strategy for our Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook accounts. Specifically, we need:

• Content calendar creation: A 3-month posting schedule that balances promotional content, behind-the-scenes moments, adoption success stories, comedian spotlights, and community engagement posts
• Platform-specific strategy: Tailored approaches for Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook that leverage each platform's unique features and audience behaviors
• Content pillars: Define 4-6 content themes that align with our dual mission of supporting animal rescue and diverse comedians
• Posting cadence recommendations: Optimal frequency and timing for posts based on our audience and goals
• Trend integration framework: Guidelines for incorporating current trends while staying on-brand
• Performance metrics: Key metrics to track and benchmarks for success
A strategic content calendar is the foundation for sustainable social media growth that amplifies our impact.
Your strategic framework will enable:

• Consistent visibility for animal rescue: A planned content calendar ensures we're regularly showcasing adoptable dogs, rescue success stories, and fundraising impact (we've raised $30K+ so far), keeping our mission top-of-mind for followers and potential adopters
• Sustained opportunities for diverse comedians: Strategic posting helps us build an engaged audience that translates to ticket sales, which means more paid performance opportunities for the 500+ women, LGBTQIA+, BIPOC, and POC performers we champion
• Scalable national growth: A documented strategy allows us to replicate success as we expand to new cities and train volunteers in different markets. Your calendar framework will become the playbook for growing our digital presence from NYC across the country

Your strategic thinking will give us the roadmap to turn social media from a sporadic effort into a powerful engine for mission-driven growth.
• Diverse comedians getting opportunities: Engaging posts showcase the 500+ women, LGBTQIA+, BIPOC, and POC performers we've booked, helping them grow their own audiences while demonstrating to the comedy industry that diverse lineups draw crowds
• Community growth: By attracting new followers and attendees, you'll help us expand to new cities and partner with more rescue organizations nationwide

Every viral reel could mean another dog adopted, another comedian discovered, another person who finds "the happiest place in NYC" (as Time Out NY called us). Your creative talents will help us prove that comedy and compassion belong on the same stage—and that this model can inspire similar initiatives across the country.
We're organized and ready to collaborate:

• Clear goals: We've identified our target metrics (follower growth, engagement rates, ticket sales conversions) and will share these upfront
• Content library: We have organized photos and videos from our shows ready for you to review and plan around
• Brand foundation: Our mission, values, and key messaging are clearly defined
•Platform access: You'll have view access to review our current social media performance and past content
• Leadership involvement: Our founder will provide timely feedback and insights about upcoming events and priorities
• Implementation commitment: Once the calendar and strategy are finalized, our team (and future volunteers) will execute the plan consistently
