We're seeking a website expert to give us feedback on our current website’s layout, user-friendliness, mobile readiness, content, and general look and feel. You'll present our team with your recommendations for improvements to help us maximize our site to support our goals.

We'll start with a briefing session where our team will share our goals and tell you about our target audiences and what we hope to achieve through our website. We'll collaborate to define our next steps and set a timeline. Next time we meet, you'll provide us with some of your initial insights and high-level feedback. We'll have additional feedback for you as well. When your analysis is complete, you'll deliver a short presentation to our team with your recommendations and give us a document of your recommended tactics and updates.

Our ideal volunteer can spend fifteen to twenty hours over four to five weeks reviewing our website. They have experience in web design and marketing.

This project will NOT include:
-Website design
-Website development/coding
-Development of a content marketing strategy
Our website is often the first place someone encounters Amazing House of Hope—whether they are a family seeking support, a donor deciding to give, or a potential partner looking to collaborate. As a newly approved 501(c)(3), we have a powerful mission and growing momentum, but we need our website to clearly tell our story, inspire trust, and guide visitors to take meaningful action.

Through a comprehensive website audit, a Taproot volunteer will help us transform our site into a stronger tool for impact. This project will evaluate our site’s messaging, structure, user experience, accessibility, and donation pathways to ensure it effectively serves the people who need us most and those who want to support our work.

Your work will directly help us:

• Make our mission and programs clearer and easier to understand for families and community members seeking help.
• Improve donor confidence by strengthening storytelling, credibility signals, and calls to action.
• Increase online donations and email sign-ups by identifying friction points and optimization opportunities.
• Ensure our website is more accessible, inclusive, and user-friendly for diverse audiences.
• Create a clear roadmap for improvements our team can implement immediately and over time.

The impact of this project goes far beyond a website. A stronger digital presence means more families can find support faster, more donors feel confident investing in our mission, and more partners see the value of working with us. Your expertise will help lay the digital foundation for sustainable growth, expanded services, and deeper community trust.

By contributing your time, you will help ensure that every visitor to our site, whether they arrive seeking hope or looking to give, has a clear, welcoming, and meaningful experience that moves them to action.
To prepare for the project, we can provide you with detail about our target audiences and our organization's goals, and how we measure success. We will provide access to the back-end of our website and Google Analytics. We also have a dedicated member of our team who will be responsible for supporting you throughout the project.
