Case for Support

We're seeking a marketing professional to help craft a compelling Case for Support, an essential tool for communicating our mission, goals, and needs to donors, stakeholders, and partners. A strong case can inspire fiscal contributions and other support to help our nonprofit achieve its objectives.

The volunteer will conduct discovery to understand our mission, vision, values, and goals, as well as the impact we aim to make through our programs. Then, they'll draft a Case for Support tailored to our audiences (individual donors, foundations, corporations, and other supporters). The Case should include: the need, our solution, demonstrated impact, goals and strategies, financial needs, call to action, and recognition and stewardship.

This project will involve several rounds of review with leadership and may include training on how to use the Case for Support effectively.

The Wonder Grove makes learning an adventure, where curiosity leads the way and play sparks discovery, connection, and growth. As our programs and reach expand, we need a clear, compelling case that captures the heart of our mission and invites others to join us.

This project will help us tell our story with confidence, explain why The Wonder Grove matters, and show how support impacts children and families. With your expertise, we’ll create a powerful resource for grants, donor outreach, and partnerships to grow sustainable support.

For volunteers, this is a high-impact opportunity to turn words into wonder. Your time and talents will help unlock funding, expand access to joyful learning experiences, and ensure more children can explore, move, imagine, and connect.

The volunteer will have regular access to our executive leadership and team members during discovery. We’ll provide financial data, marketing collateral, and program materials, and can arrange interviews with beneficiaries if needed.
