We’re seeking a volunteer to help us develop a practical operational plan that leverages marketing and social media to grow our donor base. The volunteer will help define target audiences, recommend channel and content approaches, propose a simple content cadence and KPI framework, and outline prioritized next steps. Specific details will be defined during volunteers interviews.

Assess Current Presence
- Review Stephen’s Children’s current marketing, digital presence, and donor communication efforts.
- Evaluate existing materials, website, and social media engagement.

Develop Strategic Framework
- Define target audiences and donor segments.
- Identify key messaging themes that reflect the heart of the ministry and resonate with new donors.
- Recommend optimal channels (email, social media, digital ads, storytelling content, etc.).

Create a 12–18 Month Operating Plan
- Provide an actionable roadmap with timelines, metrics, and budget estimates.
- Outline practical steps for donor acquisition, engagement, and retention.
- Suggest scalable tools or systems to track effectiveness.

Training and Implementation Support
- Offer recommendations for capacity building (staff or volunteer roles).
- Propose a short training or onboarding process for internal team members.

Quality Assurance and Direction
- Help launch Marketing and Communications Advisory Board
- Identify key metrics and analytics
Increasing donor support will expand our ability to nurture, educate, equip and train the poorest children, young people and their families. A stronger donor pipeline will help save lives, instill hope, restore dignity and enable programs that empower community members to become leaders and change agents.
We will provide additional details during volunteer interviews, including current materials, channels and staff capacity. We will work closely with the volunteer through regular check-ins, sharing context and examples as available, and using the plan to guide our donor growth activities.
