Create a clear, editable business handbook that captures the organization's core policies, procedures, roles, and operating guidance. The volunteer will help organize the handbook, draft and edit content using materials we provide, and deliver a usable document. Specific sections and source materials will be provided during interviews.
A well-crafted handbook will help the organization deliver consistent, trauma-informed services and maintain a safe, respectful environment for all. Volunteers will support clearer operations and staff guidance, strengthening our ability to provide compassionate assistance and fresh starts to people transitioning off the streets.
Our team will collaborate closely with the volunteer through scheduled sessions and review cycles. We will share existing documents and context during interviews, provide timely feedback on drafts, and work together to finalize an accessible handbook ready for adoption by the organization.
