Regenerative Farms, Inc. is a U.S.-based international nonprofit working at the intersection of gender equity, climate action, and food security. We empower women farmers to combat child hunger and regenerate degraded lands by scaling locally-led, high-impact “Regeneration Hubs” in over 12 countries.

We’re facing a pivotal moment: as government and foundation funding declines, we need to grow our digital donor community. Our storytelling is strong—but we need your help to scale it.

We are seeking a skilled Social Media & AI Automation Volunteer to help us deliver on a newly crafted digital strategy by building, scheduling, and partially automating content across Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube.

You'll help us activate a powerful donor engagement campaign centered on 3 narrative pillars:
1. Empowering Women Farmers
2. Restoring Degraded Lands
3. Scaling Food Security and Regenerative Livelihoods

You will work closely with the Founder/CEO and creative team to:
- Implement our social media strategy using tools like Meta Business Suite, Hootsuite, Later, Buffer, or Metricool.
- Use AI-powered tools like ChatGPT, Canva AI, CapCut, or Descript to generate, repurpose, and schedule content across platforms.
- Build and maintain a 3-month content calendar with thematic post ideas, Reels, Stories, and community engagement strategies.
- Automate repetitive workflows where possible (e.g., using Zapier, Make.com, or social schedulers with RSS/AI content triggers).
- Analyze basic social metrics to improve engagement and drive conversion toward monthly donations.
By volunteering with our organization, you will get to be a part of a dynamic global nonprofit empowering women and regenerating lands in the U.S., Kenya, DRC, Peru, and beyond. This is an opportunity to apply your AI and digital comms expertise to real-world systems change, and a chance to co-create templates, workflows, and content libraries that will fuel growth for years to come.
To prepare for the project, we will provide you with our social media handles, You'll have access to our file of photos and logos and a list of our hashtags. We will share our engagement strategy to help boost membership and small online donations.

Organization Mission

Since the pandemic, hunger and malnutrition have surged, creating an unprecedented global food emergency according to the UN World Food Program. In today's world there are more frequent weather disasters that are threatening food security everywhere. In many parts of the world, up to 80% of a child’s food is grown by their mother. Gender oppression and violence also rose steeply during the pandemic, and continue to be the accepted norm in too many places. Because of this, women lack access to many of the resources they need to grow enough food. During the pandemic those resources became even more scarce and moms bore the brunt of added hours of work each day that had to be spent caring for sick, elderly and children as the world shut down leaving less time for growing food. As a result, today 1 in 3 children where we work are malnourished, facing a lifetime of physical and mental deficits that could easily have been prevented. That's why our solution to child hunger is very different than most. We work at the source of the problem providing a simple solution that builds women farmers' weather resilience to prevent children from ever facing hunger. We provide women with what is needed to grow their food security and resilience long before disaster strikes. The generous donation of your expertise helps us keep our overhead low (we only have one part-time US staff member) so we can put more of our funding toward cultivating hope, nourishing futures, and saving children's lives all around the world."
