We would like to create a structured project coordination system to streamline planning, execution, and monitoring for Bright Mind’s growing programs. With the help of a skilled volunteer, we aim to develop tools, processes, and documentation that enable our team to manage projects more efficiently while supporting initiatives like Street Care and Wellness Week.

The volunteer will assist with:

Project Planning: Creating detailed project plans with clear timelines, deliverables, and responsibilities.
Communication Framework: Developing a communication system for volunteers, donors, and stakeholders to ensure timely updates and alignment.
Documentation: Preparing and organizing key resources, including meeting minutes, progress reports, and compliance documents for funders.
Volunteer Coordination Tools: Designing simple systems or templates for volunteer recruitment, training, and scheduling.
Impact Measurement: Assisting in creating tools to track project outcomes and demonstrate community impact.

By building these systems, the volunteer will help us scale our programs effectively, improve coordination, and maintain accountability, ensuring that Bright Mind can serve more people and strengthen its mission-driven initiatives. This work can be accomplished in 2–5 hours per week over several weeks, and will have a lasting impact on our ability to manage and deliver high-impact programs.
This project will directly advance our mission of creating positive change and serving the most vulnerable communities by strengthening the way we plan, execute, and monitor our programs. Bright Mind’s initiatives, such as Street Care—which provides essential resources to people experiencing homelessness—and Wellness Week, rely heavily on efficient coordination and strong communication with volunteers, donors, and partners. By helping us establish a structured project coordination system, you will enable us to run programs more effectively, reduce delays, and expand our reach to thousands more individuals in need.

Your expertise will help us maximize impact with limited resources, ensuring every dollar and volunteer hour creates measurable change. Ultimately, this work will empower Bright Mind to scale its programs, attract more support, and deliver life-changing services to underserved populations. By contributing to this project, you’re not just creating processes—you’re helping us transform lives and strengthen entire communities.
To set this project up for success, we have already secured full support from our leadership team and program managers, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities and ongoing initiatives like Street Care and Wellness Week. We have prepared a clear scope of work, identified key deliverables, and outlined timelines for each stage of the project. A dedicated point of contact from our team will be available to provide timely feedback, share resources, and maintain smooth communication throughout the engagement.

Additionally, we’ve gathered existing project documentation, reports, and volunteer data to give the volunteer a strong starting point, reducing onboarding time and maximizing impact. Once the project coordination system and tools are developed, our internal team will implement and maintain these processes as part of our operational workflow, ensuring the volunteer’s contributions have a lasting impact. Our goal is to make this collaboration seamless, efficient, and rewarding for the volunteer, while creating sustainable improvements for our organization.

Organization Mission

Bright Mind is a community wellness education organization. BME was just featured on ABC, CBS, Politico, Newsweek, and many more outlets for our vaccination project and we need more people to join us as we continue to solve urgent social issues! CBS News said of our newest app: "Health experts have said friends and family are key to getting those who aren't vaccinated and experts say this (Vaccination Rewards) app will start those conversations. "Bright Mind recently launched Street Care, a massive initiative built by our homelessness and wellness experts, 'your toolkit to help homeless people.' We have an app, an expanding series of informational materials and instructional videos (25+ already), and more (at streetcare.us). We are pioneering an online and on-the-streets outreach approach, accessible to everyone. We are passionate about building community. This is a crucial time to create positive change, and we look forward to working together as we accomplish great things together!
