Volunteer Recruitment

Help us recruit mission-driven leaders to our nonprofit! We are seeking a volunteer to help us craft a comprehensive recruitment plan. Project tasks will include:
-Meeting with our organization's leadership to establish which roles are vacant
-Conducting interviews with board or staff members involved in recruitment or prospecting to establish which tactics have and have not been successful in the past
-Development of the first draft of an inclusive recruitment strategy that includes clear tactics for reaching candidates representative of the community that we're serving and who meet our current needs
-Finalizing the recruitment strategy by incorporating feedback from relevant team members

We are looking for ten volunteers!

At the International Girls Academy, our mission is to empower underserved and underrepresented girls around the world through education, mentorship, and leadership development. We believe that when girls are equipped with the tools to lead, they don’t just change their own lives—they transform their communities.

This project plays a critical role in helping us achieve that mission. Whether you’re supporting us through design, writing, strategic planning, marketing, or capacity-building, your time and talents will directly strengthen the infrastructure behind our programs. You’ll be helping us tell our story more effectively, reach new audiences, build partnerships, and increase our impact.

With your support, we will:

Enhance our visibility and credibility with donors and supporters,

Improve the resources and experiences we offer to our girls and mentors,

Strengthen the systems that allow us to scale our work sustainably,

And most importantly, create more opportunities for girls around the world to thrive.

By volunteering with us, you’re not just contributing to a project—you’re becoming a part of a global movement that believes in the brilliance, strength, and leadership potential of every girl. Your work will help us reach more girls, tell more powerful stories, and build a brighter, more equitable future—one girl at a time.

We will designate a team member to lead the project and work with the volunteer. We will also prepare members of our Board of Directors so they are aware of the project. We'll provide you with relevant information about our stakeholders and a background briefing on our programs, mission, vision, and purpose. You will have access to relevant materials and our current recruitment pipelines.
