Social Media Content Organization
We're looking for a volunteer to help us save time and be more strategic with our social media presence. Specifically, you'll create a template for a one-month social posting calendar that we can leverage to make managing our multiple social media channels easy. You'll draft copy for fifteen to twenty posts and make recommendations to customize our content to optimize it for different platforms. We will seek your input on using tools to automate our social media postings. The final deliverable will be the calendar template you create filled with fifteen to twenty different posts.
You're a great fit for us if you're passionate about our mission, you have a background in managing professional social media accounts, and you can spend ten hours over one to three weeks on this project.
At the International Girls Academy, we are committed to empowering underserved and underrepresented girls across the globe through mentorship, education, and leadership development. To continue growing our impact and reaching the girls who need us most, we must amplify our voice—and that’s where you come in.
As a social media volunteer, your creativity and digital expertise will directly support our mission by helping us connect with a wider audience, inspire new supporters, and engage the communities we serve. You’ll play a vital role in telling the stories of our girls, sharing the successes of our programs, and building an online presence that reflects the power and promise of our mission.
Your contributions will help us:
Increase awareness of our programs and global reach,
Attract new donors, volunteers, and community partners,
Celebrate the achievements of the girls in our network,
Promote upcoming events, campaigns, and initiatives,
Build a consistent and empowering brand across platforms.
Through thoughtful content creation, engagement strategies, and storytelling, you’ll help us bring the voices of girls to the forefront—and invite others to stand with them. This project will not only grow our digital presence but also strengthen our global movement for equity, education, and empowerment.
By donating your time and talent, you’re helping girls around the world be seen, heard, and celebrated. You’re not just managing social media—you’re shaping a platform for change.
To prepare for the project, we will provide you with our events calendar and other relevant social media handles of organizations that are pillars in our sector. You'll have access to a file of photos and logos and a list of our hashtags.
