Website Redesign For Community Engagement And Professional Presence
We’re seeking a skilled web designer to help us redesign our current website into a more interactive, user-friendly, and professional online platform. The goal is to create a site that reflects the heart of our mission while also offering clear, accessible navigation for our community members, partners, and donors. We want a beautiful, modern design that feels welcoming and professional — a space where people can easily learn about our work, get involved, and stay informed.
Key tasks include:
Evaluating our current website layout and functionality
Designing a refreshed, visually engaging homepage and key subpages
Helping us organize content so it’s clear and easy to navigate
Recommending (or integrating) user-friendly features like event sign-ups, newsletter opt-ins, or donation tools
Offering guidance on ongoing site management (if possible)
Our website is often the first touchpoint for people learning about our work — whether they’re potential collaborators, donors, or community members seeking support. A professional and accessible website will allow us to better connect with those we serve, share resources more effectively, and grow our impact. We want our digital presence to match the strength and spirit of the work we’re doing on the ground — and this redesign will help us build that bridge.
We’ve already discussed our core goals for the website internally and are aligned on what we want: something that’s visually strong, clearly communicates who we are, and works well for the communities we serve. We’ve gathered inspiration from sites we admire and have a general vision for the look and feel. We're prepared to provide timely feedback and have a point person ready to collaborate directly with the volunteer. This project is a top priority for us, and we’re committed to making the process smooth, responsive, and rewarding.
